§ 30-1644. Denial, appeal.
Any applicant who has been denied a permit under this division shall be notified in writing of such denial and the reasons therefor. Within ten days of the mailing of the notice of denial, such denied applicant may appeal the denial by submitting a written request for appeal to the director of the department of health or his designated representative. Within 30 days of the receipt of the request for appeal, a hearing on such appeal shall be held. The written decision of the director of the department of health, or his designated representative, is final unless appealed to the civil district court for the parish within 30 days of the director's or his designated representatives written decision.
