§ 26-513. When applicable show window, etc., not resting on ground; exceptions in Vieux Carré.

(a)

The provisions of section 26-512 shall likewise apply to show cases and show windows which, although not resting their bases upon the public streets or sidewalks, shall project, for the height of any portion of the first or ground floor, beyond the property line of the property on which any building or structure shall be located of which such projecting show window or show case forms a part.

(b)

The provisions of this section shall not apply to abutting show windows in the Vieux Carré of this city where the provisions of section 166-4 are complied with.
