§ 14-332. Certificate required as prerequisite to operation.

Before any device, contrivance or structure under this article is permitted to operate and before the public is permitted to use or come in contact therewith, the person that proposes to operate such shall first obtain a certificate from the director of the department of safety and permits that the structure is safe in all respects and that it has been constructed with the requisite solidity and that all of the materials used in the construction are sound and free from defect. Such certificate must show that the inspection contemplated by this section was actually made by the director of the department of safety and permits or one of his duly qualified assistants.
