§ 146-464. Penalties.

  • (a)

    Whoever fails to adhere to the standards promulgated by the department of public works regarding the painting of street markings, who does anything otherwise prohibited, or fails to do anything required by this chapter, shall be fined up to $500.00 per violation. The markings on each block face or each 300 feet shall be considered one violation.

    (b)

    In addition to any other fines or penalties provided herein, and regardless of any hearing thereon, after notice to the person having made the marking and after removal of the marking by the department of public works or the downtown development district, the bond required in section 146-462 is to be forfeited.
