§ 106-136. Department to carry on functions of certain former organizations.

The department of recreation shall operate the recreational programs formerly carried on by the Junior Sports Association Commission, the Supervisor of Lawrance Square, the Public Bath Commission, the Teen-Age Clubs including the installation on South Jefferson Davis Parkway near Perdido Street, and the former recreational activities of the former office of the commissioner of public property and shall exercise all powers, duties and responsibilities heretofore granted to such agencies. The department of recreation shall likewise operate the playground recreational program formerly carried on by the playground and community service commission.
