§ 106-135. Certain future programs.

The department of recreation is the city department responsible for the administration and operation of all new developments in the recreational field that may hereafter be created and for the operation and organization of which city funds may be appropriated, including playgrounds, playfields, community centers, gymnasia, teenage and neighborhood centers, parks or other facilities and programs, and all such developments shall be cleared through this department and placed under its jurisdiction.
