§ 106-134. General duties.

The department of recreation shall be responsible for developing a well-rounded program of public recreation which will serve all people and which is to be available for people of all ages; it shall administer all funds appropriated or made available to it for recreational purposes in the city; and, it shall cooperate with federal, state and local public and private agencies having recreational functions, including schools and such parks as do not come under the jurisdiction of the parkway and park commission or some other department or commission.
