§ 66-406. Damaging or removal of boot is prohibited.

It shall be unlawful and an offense punishable by a fine of up to $500.00 and imprisonment of up to six months for any unauthorized person to release, deface, injure, tamper with, break, destroy, remove, impair the usefulness of, or cause any person to release, deface, injure, tamper with, break, destroy, remove, impair the usefulness of any boot which has been attached to a motor vehicle in accordance with the provisions of this article.
