§ 54-355. Sale, transfer of firearms; exemptions.

  • (a)

    The provisions of sections 54-346 through 54-354 shall not be construed to include any antique or unserviceable firearm sold or transferred and/or held as a curio or museum piece.

    (b)

    For the purposes of sections 54-346 through 54-354, a dealer shall be exempt from application thereof, only when purchasing firearms for resale, and not as an isolated transaction.

    (c)

    A purchase by a pawnbroker shall include an acquisition growing out of a pledge or pawn and shall not be exempt from the regulatory provisions of this division.
