Any person who knowingly gives any false information or makes any material misstatement
in a federal firearms transaction record as required by this division, or any person
or dealer who fails to forward such record to the superintendent of police within
24 hours, or who sells or transfers a firearm to a person other than the one by whom
the record was completed, or who otherwise sells, transfers, purchases, receives or
transfers a firearm in violation of this division, shall be subject to imprisonment
of not more than 90 days, or a fine of not more than $100.00, or both.
