§ 30-1204. Identification cards.

  • Persons permitted to issue identification cards under this division shall obtain a certificated copy of the individual's birth certificate or valid state drivers' license to establish the correct name, age and residence of the individual seeking an identification card on forms provided by the issuer of the identification. A copy of this information and photograph shall be maintained by the issuer of such identification card and be available for inspection and collection by the police department. These files shall be kept for a period of five years from date of issuance.
