§ 30-259. Location of sale—Restricted.

  • No one shall be licensed for a sale by public outcry who has not, for a period of one year next preceding the sale, been continuously in business in the parish as a retail or wholesale merchant of the items to be sold and any sale by public outcry may only be held at the licensee's existing regularly established place of business and at the place where his regular business has been operated continuously for a period of at least one year prior to the date such sale by public outcry is to commence. Any such sale by public outcry shall be conducted only in the name of such business and no other.
