§ 26-515. Offending window, etc., a nuisance; abatement.

  • If any person is the owner of any property abutting a public street which property shall have any show case or show window attached to any building or structure located thereon which shall encroach or project beyond the property line on the first or ground floor as described in this article shall fail, refuse or neglect to remove or retire such show case or show window within the limits of the property line of the property, then such show case or show window shall be declared a public nuisance and the mayor in the name of the city shall bring proper proceedings to have such nuisance abated.
