§ 22-96. Maintenance of vehicle—Generally.
Each driver shall be fully responsible for the exterior and interior of his/her taxicab. Each driver shall be required to maintain his/her taxicab and his/her person in a neat and clean condition at all times. Dashboards must be maintained free and clear of all paraphernalia and other items not necessary for the operation of such taxicab. Each taxicab must be air conditioned, and operating in a first class condition. Each taxicab must comply with all applicable vehicle standards imposed by law or regulation, including but not limited to the rules and regulations of the New Orleans Aviation Board.
