§ 162-691. Trade name to be registered.
The trade name applicable to each vehicle operated under the provisions of this article shall be registered with and approved by the ground transportation bureau. Such registration shall set forth the full name and address of the lawful owner or owners of such trade name and shall specify the color scheme of vehicles to be operated under such trade name. The owner or owners of such trade name shall furnish to the ground transportation bureau a to-scale model of the vehicle, which shall be painted in conformity with the trade name applicable and lettered as required by this chapter. Each change in color scheme or of lettering of such vehicle shall likewise be registered and a modified scale model of the vehicle shall be furnished. No new trade name or color schemes which are identical or deceptively similar to any trade name or color scheme already registered with the ground transportation bureau shall be approved by the ground transportation bureau.
