§ 162-323. Denial.

The director of the department of safety and permits shall not approve the transfer or reissuance of the certificate of public necessity and convenience if the vehicle fails to meet the requirements for issuance of the for-hire vehicle inspection certificate by the for-hire vehicle inspection station. Such vehicle must have satisfactorily passed inspection by the station within 15 days of the date of application for transfer of the CPNC.
