§ 154-924. Exceptions to section 154-923.

(a)

The provisions of section 154-923 shall not apply:

(1)

To parking on the sidewalk in the 500 block of Soraparu Street on sidewalks installed by the Turnbull Cone Baking Company of Louisiana by delivery vehicles engaged in loading or unloading in connection with the operations of the Turnbull Cone Baking Company.

(2)

In the 200 block of Royal Street, the 200 block of Chartres Street or the 1000 block of Toulouse Street by delivery vehicles engaged in loading or unloading merchandise on sidewalk areas specially constructed to accommodate parking by trucks.

(b)

Such sidewalk areas shall be designated by the director of streets and the department of streets shall cause informational signs to be posted on any area so designated.
