§ 154-922. Designation of public carrier stands.
The director of the department of streets with concurrence of the director of utilities shall establish bus stops, livery stands, taxicab stands and stands for other passenger common carrier vehicles and horse-drawn vehicles on such public streets in such places and in such number as he shall determine to be of the greatest benefit and convenience to the public, and every such bus stop, taxicab stand or other stand shall be designated by appropriate signs. If such directors cannot agree as to the establishment of such stops and stands, either of them may submit such recommendations for the consideration and action of the city council.
