§ 14-69. Cash deposit in lieu of bond.

In lieu of filing the bond required by this article with the director of the department of safety and permits any operator may deposit with the director of the department of finance the sum of $1,000.00 in cash as security to the city against such damages as are mentioned in section 14-68 and upon presentation to the director of the department of safety and permits of the receipt of the director of the department of finance for such deposit the permit required by this article shall be issued.
