§ 14-68. Bond required of operator.
The permit required by this article shall be issued only after the operator shall have filed with the director of the department of safety and permits, a bond payable to the city, in the sum of $1,000.00 to indemnify the city for any damages it may sustain during the time such circus shall be conducted in the city as a result of the fault of the operator of such circus or of his agents, servants or employees. Such bond shall contain a stipulation that such operator and his surety consent and yield to the jurisdiction of the civil courts of the state for the parish and waive any plea to the jurisdiction of the court on account of their residence elsewhere upon suit for damages such as are referred to in this section.
