§ 146-534. Authority to issue permit.
The director of the department of safety and permits shall authorize sidewalk use permits only for validly licensed businesses that fully comply with the requirements of this division and the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. Such permits shall be issued only after consultation with and the positive recommendation of the director of the department of public works. A sidewalk use permit is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked, suspended, or not renewed based on non-compliance with the requirements of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance or the requirements of this division.
