§ 146-436. Cuts in pavement not to be made without permit.

  • No person shall make any cut for any purpose whatsoever in any roadway pavement or sidewalk pavement in the city without first having obtained permission to do so from the director of the department of public works. Application for such permits shall be made on a printed form which the director shall furnish for that purpose. Such form shall provide for the name and business address of the person desiring to make the cut, the purpose for which the cut is to be made, the location by street and house number and the approximate dimensions of the cut as well as the character of the roadway or sidewalk pavement in which the cut is to be made.
