§ 146-684. Management of museum.

  • The management of the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum by other than the city shall be by a cooperative endeavor agreement with the Friends of Historical Pharmacy, Ltd., or other nonprofit, tax-exempt entity and said contract shall be submitted to the city council for its approval after review by the department of property management prior to its execution by the mayor. The museum premises shall not be used for any commercial purposes, either directly or indirectly, or as a place of residence or lodging, except by a caretaker and shall not be used or occupied for any other purpose without the approval of the city council having acted only subsequent to receiving a report thereon from the historical pharmacy museum advisory committee.
