Article IX. HISTORICAL PHARMACY MUSEUM |
§ 146-682. Advisory committee.
In accordance with section 4-104 of the home rule charter of the city, the mayor should annually appoint, subject to the approval of the city council, an historical pharmacy museum advisory committee to be composed of the director of the department of property management or the director's authorized representative and 14 members selected in accordance with the following requirements:
(1)
Five members from the Friends of Historical Pharmacy, Ltd.
(2)
One member from the faculty of the Xavier School of Pharmacy.
(3)
One member from the faculty of the University of Northeastern Louisiana School of Pharmacy.
(4)
Seven registered pharmacists who are city residents who are appointed by each member of the city council provided that any person operating a pharmacy in the city lawfully appointed to the committee prior to April 7, 1988, may continue to serve on the committee and may be reappointed notwithstanding the residency requirement contained in this subsection.
