§ 146-2. Department to do asphalt work; contracts for curbs and gutter-bottoms.

The department of streets may provide the asphalt surfacing with its own forces and the curb and gutter-bottom installations shall be made by contractors through the regular process of purchasing by the bureau of purchasing, department of finance, in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the department of streets.
