§ 130-51. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Permittee means any person who has received a secondhand motor vehicle body parts permit from the city.
Secondhand motor vehicle body parts are used parts of motor vehicles and other reusable or resalable parts that by federal, state or city laws, rules or regulations possess or should possess an identifying number on the motor vehicle unit or part. These motor vehicle parts shall include frames, engine blocks, transmission housings, doors, fenders, hoods, trunks, header panels, motor vehicle hubcaps, vehicular batteries, vehicular sound equipment, such as radios, CB radios, stereos, speakers, cassettes, compact disc players and similar vehicular audio supplies.
Secondhand motor vehicle body parts dealer means any person who engages in the business of buying, selling, trading in or otherwise acquiring or disposing of secondhand motor vehicle body parts from a seller.
Seller means any person who offers for sale, trade, barter, remanufacture or exchange any used or secondhand motor vehicle body part to a secondhand motor vehicle body parts dealer.
