§ 86-22. Unlawful practices—Employment.

  • It is unlawful for any person to discriminate by failing or refusing to hire or by discharging an individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual with respect to compensation, terms, conditions or privileges of employment, to limit, segregate, or classify employees or applicants for employment in any way which would deprive or tend to deprive any individual of employment opportunities or otherwise affect an individual's status as an employee on the basis of that individual's race, creed, national origin or ancestry, color, religion, gender or sex, sexual orientation, gender identification, marital status, age, physical condition or disability.
