§ 82-278. Medical records fees.

(a)

The department of health is hereby authorized to charge a fee not to exceed $50.00, as determined by the director of the department of health or his duly authorized representative, for each unauthorized request for medical opinions and/or reports in narrative form on patients that have been treated by the department.

(b)

All fees charged under this section shall be payable to the department of finance for deposit into the general fund of the city.

(c)

The minimum charge for each authorized request for copies of medical records, opinions, and/or reports, that is applicable herein, shall be $35.00 for up to ten pages copied; thereafter, for each additional page copied a charge of $2.50 per page shall be levied.
