§ 82-229. Leaving tubercular hospital without authority.

  • Should the applicant for transfer to a tubercular hospital leave such tubercular institution without permission from proper authority before he has remained therein sufficiently long to earn full credit for time served on his sentence, applicant shall be guilty of escape, and upon the sworn affidavit of a person with knowledge of these facts, the applicant will be charged with escape. A warrant for his arrest shall issue by a judge of the municipal courts, and upon his apprehension and arrest, he shall be tried in the manner and form prescribed by law, and if found guilty, sentenced in accordance with existing law.
