§ 82-192. Cooperation required of prison officials.

The city and parish officials and their authorized deputies in charge of the prisons or places of judicial confinement shall cooperate with the department of health, its officers, agents, employees, inspectors and appointees in the enforcement of the provisions of this division and shall deliver to the department of health, or to its representative, any such person as the department, through its authorized representative, shall find to be suffering from a venereal disease and take a receipt for such person from the representative of the department, who removes such person.
