§ 70-424. Copies of adjudicated contracts to be sent to director of finance.

Whenever a contract shall have been adjudicated in any department and approved by the council, the city notary before whom the contract was executed shall furnish a notarial copy of the contract to the director of the department of finance, numbered in regular series for each department. The director of the department of finance shall cause an abstract of such contract to be entered into a book to be called the contract book, which shall be properly indexed and classified for convenient reference.
