§ 70-422. Clerk to forward notary material for contracts, etc.

  • On the promulgation of any ordinance which may be adopted by the council, having for its object or purpose or in contemplation a written or notarial contract, agreement, bond, act, sale or purchase or any authentic act to which the city may be a party or in which it may have any interest, the clerk of the council shall forthwith forward to one of the official notaries of the city a duly certified copy of such ordinance, together with all essential papers or other matter relating to the subject matter of such ordinance as may have come into his custody or possession, taking the receipt of the city notary for all such papers or other matter so delivered.
