Latest version.
  • The administrator shall submit annually to the chief administrative officer, on forms and in a manner prescribed by the chief administrative office, for inclusion in the city's recommended operating and capital budgets a proposed budget of revenues and expenditures covering the operation of the Upper Pontalba Building for the following calendar year, which shall be first approved by the council before any disbursements are made therefrom. This annual budget may, from time to time, be amended by the administrator; provided, however, that any amendment which increases the total amount of the budget must be presented for city council approval. Except as otherwise provided by the terms of the lease between the city and the Upper Pontalba Building Restoration Corporation, funds placed in the revolving fund of the Upper Pontalba Building shall be used exclusively for the payment of the expenses of administering, operating and maintaining the Upper Pontalba Building; and any funds, other than reasonable reserves as determined by the city, over and above that which is necessary to pay such expenses shall be transferred to the general fund of the city.
