Division 11. RIVERGATE SPECIAL FUND |
§ 70-301. Established.
(a)
In accordance with the provisions of section 6-215 of the Charter, the Rivergate Special Fund is hereby established to receive revenues generated by the Rivergate and Erato Street Wharf properties, and to make disbursements as required for the operation and maintenance of these properties and for payment of the city's obligation to the Audubon Park Commission under the Riverfront Economic Development Agreement, provided that such disbursements shall be made only pursuant to appropriations authorized by ordinance of the city council.
(b)
The fund hereby established shall be administered by the director of the department of property management, and shall be kept in an interest bearing account, with interest accruing to the benefit of and to become a part of the fund.
(c)
Disbursements from the fund shall require the manual signatures of the director of the department of finance and the director of the department of property management.
(d)
The chief administrative office shall be responsible for establishing the necessary checks and balances in administering the funds.
