§ 62-91. Required equipment.

All medical transportation vehicles issued a permit or a temporary permit under this article shall be equipped with the following minimum essential life support items:
(1)

All equipment required for permit for title XIX certification and state permit through the state agency governing EMS.

(2)

A radio system for emergency medical communications between vehicles and hospitals. The radio system transmissions and medical control contact shall be recorded and such recorded transmissions will be held by the permitted business for a period of not less than three years.

(3)

The minimum essential equipment as specified for an advanced life support ambulance. Any ambulance responding to rollover emergency calls must be equipped at the same level.
