§ 54-498.1. Compounds containing angel's trumpet.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly or intentionally combine, produce, manufacture, or distribute any compound containing the plant material known as angel's trumpet (also known as brugmansia arborea) for human consumption or with the intent to sell, distribute, or dispense same for human consumption.

(b)

The provisions of this section shall not apply to a licensed pharmaceutical company, medical doctor, pharmacist, or other person licensed to manufacture or distribute drugs from manufacturing or distributing a drug approved for use or testing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
