§ 54-493. Sale of items of speculative value.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the offense of sale of items of speculative value.

    (b)

    Sale of items of speculative value is the sale or offering for sale of any item, box, bag, or object wherein it is represented that the item, box, bag or object may or may not contain some thing of value if the nature, description, or value of the thing concealed in the item, box, bag, or other subject is not disclosed prior to the sale or offering for sale.
