§ 54-491. Misrepresentation of zoning status.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the crime of misrepresentation of zoning status.

    (b)

    Misrepresentation of zoning status is the intentional conveyance or impartation by the owner, agent, or assign of real property to a prospective purchaser of the property of any false statement or information, knowing the same to be false, relative to the zoning land use, or other status of real property to the effect that the property may lawfully be used for a purpose for which the property may not lawfully be used if the prospective purchaser subsequently purchases the property in reliance on the false statements or information conveyed.
