§ 54-277. Disposition of seized paraphernalia.
Upon the conviction of the person charged as provided in this section, all such property and paraphernalia as shall be the mere instrument of crime, shall upon the order of the judges of the municipal court, be destroyed when it is no longer needed as evidence and all property found in use for such unlawful purposes having a value for other and lawful purposes shall be sold under the orders of the court at public auction by a duly licensed auctioneer and the proceeds paid to the city treasurer. Seized monies shall be transferred to the city funds to be used by the city in whatever manner the city deems desirable.
