§ 42-228. Charitable sales outlet purchases.

No nonprofit charitable organization shall sell shares, tickets or right to participate in a charitable game of chance transmitted by a cable television bingo operator unless such shares, tickets or rights to participate in a charitable game of chance are sold by an authorized charitable sales outlet or a legally authorized representative thereto. Such charitable sales outlet shall possess, at the time of sale, a valid city license for the conduct of bingo, keno or other charitable game of chance as provided for in article II of this chapter.
