§ 34-25. Inspections generally.
Timing, issues and city agency responsibilities. Representatives of the fire and/or police department shall inspect each parade for which a permit has been issued to see that the provisions of this chapter have been complied with. The inspection shall take place immediately prior to the beginning of the parade of the particular organization being inspected and shall be recorded on a float inspection report. If any violation of the provisions of this chapter are found during these inspections, the particular float, minifloat, piece of equipment or other apparatus shall be immediately removed from the parade. Additionally, if at any time during the parade the fire department or police department determines that the physical or safety requirements of this chapter are not being complied with, the particular float, minifloat, piece of equipment or other apparatus may be immediately removed from the parade.
