§ 30-885. Ceilings and walls; wainscot.

  • The entire inside surfaces of ceilings and walls down to the wainscot shall be finished with smooth gypsum plaster, wallboard or mill-dressed, clear-face tongue and grooved wood ceiling boards. There shall be a wainscot built to grounds around all inside walls, five feet high from the floor up, in three-coat work plaster, the last coat to be in hard, smooth putty or some cement finish, or the wainscot may be of glazed tile, salt-glazed brick or wall tile.
