§ 30-441. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Customer means any person 17 years or older who receives any of the services listed in the definition of an escort service under such circumstances that he will pay money or give any consideration therefor.
Escort includes any person who, for a fee, commission, hire, reward or profit, accompanies other persons to or about social affairs, entertainments or places of amusement or consorts with others about any place of public resort or within any private quarters.
Escort service includes any person who, for a fee, commission, hire, reward or profit, furnishes or offers to furnish names of persons or who introduces, furnishes or arranges for persons who may accompany other persons to or about social affairs, entertainment or places of amusement or whose primary purpose is to consort with others about any place of public resort or within any private quarters.
Escort service establishment means the location where the business telephones of the escort service are actually answered.
Telephone operator includes any person who, for a fee, commission, hire, reward or profit, engages in the answering of the business telephone of an escort service.
