§ 30-163. Location of sale—Restricted.
No one shall be licensed for an auction sale who has not, for the period of one year next preceding the sale, been continuously in business in the parish as a retail or wholesale merchant of the items to be auctioned and any sale by auction may only be held at the licensee's existing regularly established place of business and at the place where his regular business has been operated continuously for a period of at least one year prior to the date such auction is to commence. Any such auction shall be conducted only in the name of such business and no other.
