§ 30-54. Franchise applications.

(a)

Applications. Applicants for a Wireline Telecommunications Systems Franchise shall submit applications in accordance with the terms and conditions herein designated and as may be governed by the Home Rule Charter.

(b)

Content of Applications. Applicants for a Wireline Telecommunications Systems Franchise shall submit to the Director written Applications including a map of the proposed installations, services to be provided, a construction schedule and an operations schedule and other requested information as may be required by the Director. Copies of all such documents shall also be filed with the City Council Utilities Regulatory Office.

(c)

Application Fee. An applicant for a Wireline Telecommunications Systems Franchise shall pay an initial application fee of $500.00. The application fee shall be submitted at the time that all application documents are submitted for the Grantor's review.

(d)

Publication Costs. The Grantee shall pay the costs of publication of the Telecommunication System Franchise, as such publication is required by law.
