§ 2-720. External review of the ethics review board.

Pursuant to section 9-405 of the Home Rule Charter, the ethics review board shall be subject to an independent, external peer review every three years. Such peer review shall be paid for by the ethics review board. When completed, the recommendations and findings of such peer review shall be submitted to the ethics review board and the clerk of the council. The ethics review board shall comply with the recommendations of the peer review within 90 days, provided that the recommendations and findings are accepted and approved by the city council. Copies of the final report resulting from this peer review shall be furnished to the clerk of the council, the city attorney, and the office of the mayor. The final report shall also be made available to the public.
