§ 2-641. Establishment and functions.

The central relocation division is established within the department of safety and permits to coordinate and administer relocation activities in and for the city. This division will establish and maintain a plan for the identification of relocation housing needs and resources; establish and maintain a certification procedure for all agencies causing displacement, provide relocation services, and process relocation payments to displaced families, individuals, business concerns and nonprofit organizations in accordance with the guidelines and provisions of respective city, state, and federal departments and agencies.
