§ 2-931. Rental of facilities in multi-service centers.

(a)

For nonprofit agencies with current annual leases in multi-service centers, the following rates shall apply for additional rentals beyond normal business hours:

(1)

For rental of meeting rooms:

Minimum rental shall be for a period of two hours, which shall include one-half hour before and one-half hour after the scheduled event for setup and closure of facilities ..... $50.00

Each additional hour or portion thereof ..... $25.00

(2)

For rental of facilities in City of New Orleans multi-service centers for parties, balls, dances, etc.:

Minimum rental shall be for a period of four hours ..... $120.00

Each additional hour or portion thereof ..... $35.00

Cleanup deposit ..... $75.00

Method of payment. Advance payment in full shall be made by certified check or money order payable to the City of New Orleans and remitted to the department of property management not less than five business days prior to the event for which rental is requested.

(4)

Rental agreement. No later than tender of payment, the renter shall sign an agreement, in a form approved by the city attorney, which sets forth the terms and conditions of the rental, and which specifies the time and duration of the event.

(b)

For organizations and agencies without current annual leases in multi-service centers, the following rates shall apply:

For rental of meeting rooms in City of New Orleans multi-service centers, fees shall be charged according to the following schedule:

Minimum rental shall be for a period of three hours, which shall include one-half hour before and one-half hour after the scheduled event for setup and closure of facilities ..... $75.00

Each additional hour or portion thereof ..... $25.00

For rental of facilities in City of New Orleans multi-service centers for parties, balls, dances, etc., fees shall be charged according to the following schedule:

Minimum rental shall be for a period of four hours ..... $350.00

Each additional hour or portion thereof ..... $100.00

Cleanup deposit ..... $100.00

(3)

Method of payment. Advance payment in full shall be made by certified check or money order payable to the City of New Orleans and remitted to the department of property management not less than five business days prior to the event for which rental is requested.

(4)
