§ 2-904. Council reports.
(a)
The chief of staff of the city council shall present annually as part of the budget process, but by no later than June 15, a status report and needs assessment of all take-home and pool vehicles assigned to the council, including those vehicles used by elected officials. This report shall be submitted to the ground transportation and parking committee or its successor as may be designated by the council and considered by the committee by no later than at its second regularly scheduled meeting following receipt. The committee then shall forward its recommendations to the council, which shall consider the report, including any modifications, for approval prior to submitting the council's annual budget to the chief administrative officer.
(b)
On a quarterly basis, the chief of staff of the city council shall furnish to the chief administrative officer, in accordance to CAO timeline, information pertaining to the council vehicle fleet including take-home and pool vehicles (including vehicles used by elected officials) as provided for in section 2-902 above and Policy Memorandum No. 5 (R) or its latest revision."
