§ 22-93. Transportation of passenger to destination.
(a)
All taxicab drivers are required to give the airport regulatory agency (regulators) the destination of the passenger or passengers in their vehicles. Failure to forward this information or the willful giving of the wrong information constitutes a violation.
(b)
The driver must transport the passenger to his desired destination within the metropolitan area. All drivers are to be familiar with the metropolitan area and should have local area maps for ready reference. Any driver unable to transport a passenger to any point in the metropolitan area will revert to the rear of the cab line.
(c)
Attempts by any cab drivers to influence the destination of any passengers, or acceptance of money or other gratuities by a cab driver from anyone, given for the purpose of inducing passengers to change their requested destination, or any solicitation by drivers on behalf of operators of off airport businesses will result in revocation of driver's taxi airport use permit.
(d)
The attempt by any operator of a taxicab to influence the destination of a fare, or ability to generate a fare out of turn by gratuities to any regulator shall constitute an indefinite revocation of the operator airport use permit.
